Bliss Sports Skills project was started in February 2006 and is avaliable to all children aged between 7 to 16 years old who suffer from Hidden Impairments such as A.D.H.D. (Attention Deficit Hyper Disorder), Autism, Dysphasia, Behavioural Difficulties or maybe lack Confidence, Self Esteem. This project was originally funded by the Coalfield Regeneration Trust (which ended in April 2008) and The Big Lottery Fund (which ended in January 2009). The programme has now expanded and covers children that live in North & South Tyneside, Castle Morpeth Distict, Wansbeck and Blyth Valley areas.
We are always looking to setup new coaching programmes within any school. We try to work towards a fun 5-a-side tournament at the end of each coaching term as a reward for the children’s hard work in each session. During each term we will deliver planned fun, safe, caring and effective sessions for children with different abilities teaching them the basic skills and techniques under professional supervision.
We will utilise quality and safe Techniques to enhance speed, agility and co-ordination and social development.
Children will be actively involved in team building skills in specific coaching programmes while learning the football skills in areas such as; Attacking, Defending & Goalkeeping through fun activities.
